Reach vs impressions
In short
Reach is the number of unique accounts that saw your content; impressions is the total number of times it was shown, including repeat views. Reach counts people, impressions counts views.
If 100 people see your post and 30 of them see it twice, that is 100 reach and 130 impressions. Reach tells you how many people you got in front of; impressions hint at how often.
Moose ties both to outcomes, so you see not just how far a post traveled but whether it drove profile visits, clicks, and sales.
